Antenne Tirol

Antenne Tirol is a private radio station from the state of Tyrol in Austria. It belongs to Radio Austria GmbH, which in turn is part of the oe24 Group, and is a sister station of Antenne Salzburg.

The programme targets listeners aged 14 to 49 and offers a mix of oldies and modern hits in the adult contemporary style. Antenne Tirol broadcasts on several FM frequencies in Tyrol’s Upperland, Lowerland, and East Tyrol.

The station has existed since April 1998, with its current form established in December 2004 through the renaming of Radio Arabella Tirol. In the past, it reached market shares of up to 20 percent. Today, the programme is produced centrally in Vienna, with local reporting on regional events.

Well-known presenters started their careers here, including Mirjam Weichselbraun and Thomas Kamenar.
