1LIVE DIGGI

1LIVE DIGGI is the digital radio service of Westdeutscher Rundfunk and serves as a programme-accompanying offshoot of the young main station 1LIVE. The programme is specifically aimed at a young audience in the sector, as North Rhine-Westphalia is often called internally. Via digital distribution channels, the station is firmly anchored in the radio landscape of Germany’s most populous state.

Musically, the format covers a broad spectrum of pop culture, with rockier sounds and electronic influences also finding their place in the daily schedule. The team behind the microphone includes well-known voices such as Fritz Schaefer, who is regarded as the channel’s youngest presenter, among other things. The on-air team is complemented by colleagues such as Linda Reitinger, Markus Fröhle, Madeleine Sabel and Kotaro Dürr, who can be heard in daily broadcast operations.
