Atomix Radio

Since its founding in 2001, the British Atomix Radio has consistently focused on the dissemination of electronic underground music. The station is run by an experienced collective of DJs who have set themselves the goal of creating a platform for artists outside the mainstream. The 24-hour programme is not available via classic terrestrial frequencies but exclusively digitally. Listeners can receive the stream directly through the station’s website, various radio directories, or the Mixcloud platform.

The content focus is specialised in a niche that relies less on commercial hits and more on a curated selection of dance tracks. The team behind Atomix Radio places emphasis on direct contact with the audience, which is reflected in the provision of a WhatsApp channel for music requests and messages to the studio. Through this structure, the station functions as an internationally oriented network that offers talented producers and DJs the opportunity to make their sets accessible to a global audience without having to rely on the guidelines of major broadcasting organisations.
