Shine 879

Shine 879 is a UK-based radio station focused on a 24-hour schedule of dance music. The station primarily broadcasts its content via digital DAB transmission and also offers an online platform with a media library and its own merchandise shop. Musically, the electronic spectrum forms the foundation, with the station regularly hosting live events and DJ sets at various London venues such as Koko, Egg, and other locations. This presence is documented through photo and video galleries of past parties, including boat parties and themed nights like Hallowrave and House of Love.

Behind the brand is a media structure that, alongside the pure audio offering under the name Shine TV, also produces visual content. The station acts as a platform for a variety of producers and presenters who make their programmes accessible via digital devices and the website. The connection between the radio station and the local club scene is underscored by the ongoing planning of events such as Summer Shakedown, making the station an interface between curated radio broadcasting and nightlife.
