About the station

The roots of Clash FM lie in the Allier department, where operations began on 16 May 1985 under the name Radio Clash in Limoise. After a name change in December of the same year and stations in Saint-Satur, the station’s current headquarters is located in Diou. The station serves as a regional source of information for residents in Central France and its signal covers areas in the Cher, Allier, Nièvre, Yonne, and Loiret departments. A distinctive feature of the programming is the cooperation with local associations, which use the station to broadcast multi-day announcements for regional events.

Musically, Clash FM focuses on a mix of current pop hits and well-known classics under the slogan Des souvenirs aux hits. The technical coverage has been continuously expanded over the years, particularly through the launch of the 101.0 MHz frequency for the Vichy and Vendat area in 2019. Other important FM frequencies include 92.5 MHz in Lurcy-Lévis, 105.7 MHz in Sancerre, and 106.5 MHz in the Henrichemont area. Following a change in management at the end of 2017, the team strengthened its presence in the rural region by opening new studio premises in 2018.
