Dance Wave!

Dance Wave! operates as a pure online radio based in Hungary and specializes in the electronic music history of the past decades. The program is divided into two specific channels that define the focus of the music selection. While the main channel covers the development of dance, house and trance from the year 2000 to today, the offshoot Dance Wave Retro! focuses exclusively on dance music from the 90s. This clear focus on different eras of electronic club music allows the station to serve a broad spectrum within these genres.

Listeners benefit from a high technical variety in terms of transmission quality at this station. The offering comprises a wide range of formats, from compressed streams for low bandwidth such as AAC+ or OPUS up to FLAC transmissions in lossless quality for audiophile demands. This ensures that the music can be received on a variety of devices – from modern mobile phones to older computer systems. The station operates globally and deliberately refrains from editorial spoken contributions in order to fully concentrate on the curated music selection.
