About the station
DR P5 Østjylland is a Danish radio station from East Jutland, whose name clearly identifies its region. It plays oldies, that is, music from earlier decades that many listeners are familiar with and that often evokes memories. The station belongs to the environment of the Danish broadcaster DR and, with its programme, is aimed at people in East Jutland.
A distinctive feature is the focus on melodies and songs that have remained well known across generations. Anyone who tunes in hears a selection of pieces that people remember from radio in earlier times, and thus experiences a part of Danish and international pop history with a regional flavour.
