About the station
DR P5 Fyn is a radio service of the Danish public broadcaster DR and is aimed at the Fyn region, the island of Funen in Denmark. The station belongs to the P5 family, which serves the regions with their own programme windows within the DR radio offering. The focus is on oldies, that is, tracks from past decades that are well known in Denmark.
The station combines this music offering with regional references to Funen. Especially in a regional programme, the mix of music and news from the local environment is typical of DR. The music is presented in Danish, and the tone of address remains personal and close to the listener.
