DR P6 Beat

The radio station DR P6 Beat is a thematic channel of the Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR). The station focuses musically on genres such as groove, soul, funk, R&B and related rhythms. As part of the national radio and audio platform DR LYD, the programme is aimed at listeners throughout Denmark who, away from the mainstream, are looking for rhythmic and handcrafted music.

In addition to the ongoing music programme, the platform provides access to numerous on-demand content, shows and podcasts from the Danish media archive. Distribution takes place digitally via web streams and apps, allowing listeners to access the music content flexibly. In doing so, the station relies on editorial curation that takes into account both established titles and new releases from the groove and soul spectrum.
