laut.fm – Just Jazz

The German internet radio station Just Jazz is operated via the platform laut.fm and dedicates itself to a range of classic as well as contemporary jazz productions. The program foregoes conventional radio presentation and instead relies on a curated music compilation that puts renowned instrumentalists and vocalists in the spotlight. The repertoire includes recordings by artists such as Chet Baker, Stan Getz and Bill Evans as well as rarely played pieces by Cal Tjader or David Sanborn.

The musical design covers various styles, including cool jazz, bebop and orchestral arrangements by Claus Ogerman. In the show Rotation, influences from the New York Jazz Lounge or collaborations such as those of J. J. Johnson and Kai Winding are also integrated. The station is available exclusively digitally as a stream and can be received via various radio platforms and mobile applications. Through the selection of performers such as Zoot Sims and Sonny Criss, the program offers a detailed insight into the history and development of the genre.
