laut.fm – Deutscher Soldatensender Von 1970

Deutscher Soldatensender von 1970 is an internet radio station on laut.fm that revives the atmosphere of the popular hits from 1968 to 1972 at the quarry pond. It plays English superhits and German earworms that shaped an entire generation.

The name refers to the historical Deutscher Soldatensender 935 of the GDR, a propaganda secret station that broadcast from 1960 to 1972 on medium wave 935 kHz from Burg. It ran daily at fixed times with music and programs for Western Allied soldiers. The modern stream, however, is a nostalgic oldies station without FM or DAB, hosted by DJ Frank Narkus from Magdeburg.

The program includes oldies from the youth of many listeners, without advertising elements or current news.
