About the station
The station mbabcz.grn, hosted on the laut.fm platform, takes a musical approach that deliberately disregards rigid genre boundaries. The repertoire ranges from international indie acts such as Aldous Harding, Gorillaz and The Killers to German-speaking artists such as Deichkind, Silbermond or Apache 207. Rockier nuances from Evanescence or Peter Frampton also have their place in the stream. This curated mix is structured by programme elements such as the Rotation, in which changing artists and tracks take centre stage.
As part of the laut.fm infrastructure, the stream is available digitally, independent of terrestrial frequencies. Listeners can receive the programme via aggregators such as radio.de and phonostar and access it through mobile apps for iOS and Android. Integration via Alexa skill is also possible. The stream is provided through direct streaming URLs in various formats, which allows integration into a variety of playback software. The station thus targets an audience that, beyond classic FM formats, seeks individual music selections that are not consistently dominated by algorithms or charts.
