laut.fm – SoundOfGear

Behind the station name SoundOfGear is a German internet radio station on the laut.fm platform, musically positioned in the pop and genre crossover. The playlist breaks rigid format boundaries and combines current chart acts with indie rock, hip-hop and selected classics. The recurring programming includes, among others, the format Rotation, in which artists such as Kamrad or Westernhagen are played.

The musical profile is stylistically open and ranges from pop stars such as Katy Perry and Rosalia through indie bands such as Giant Rooks, Provinz and the Arctic Monkeys to rap and hip-hop acts such as The Roots, Prezident and Rapsody. Retro pop elements such as NSYNC and grunge touches from 4 Non Blondes also have their place in the ongoing programme. The station, which is broadcast purely digitally, can be received via common radio aggregators, mobile apps, smart speakers and direct streaming URLs.
