SWR3

SWR3 is a statewide public-service pop radio station of Südwestrundfunk, received in large parts of southwestern Germany including cities such as Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Mainz, Freiburg, and Mannheim. The program targets a broad audience and combines current pop music with journalistic content, regional news, weather reports, and detailed traffic updates for the entire broadcast area.

In addition to music presentation, fixed formats from the areas of comedy, entertainment, and celebrity news shape the station’s profile. An essential part of the editorial work is also the coverage of live events, including the organization and reporting on the well-known SWR3 New Pop Festival. The linear radio program is complemented by digital offerings such as video livestreams, podcasts, a music search, and integration into the ARD Sounds app.
