Musiconly

Musiconly does not operate as a classic radio station, but serves as a provider for individual background music concepts in gastronomy and retail. The company based in Vienna primarily targets operators of restaurants, bars, and cafes seeking technically reliable, atmospheric sound systems. Instead of relying on internet-based streaming services, the provider installs on-site its own music computers preloaded with hand-selected music files. This enables operation independent of a constant internet connection and uses energy-efficient mini-desktops as playback devices.

The musical spectrum is broad and ranges from Nu-Jazz, Indie-Pop, and Lounge to current top hits and rock formats. Reference projects include the Summerstage on the Vienna Danube Canal, the Aumann Restaurant, or the Papperla Pub in Zermatt. In addition to pure music programming, the provider, which also operates sports bars like a billiard cafe in Regau, offers technical solutions for video playback. The concepts are tailored after an on-site analysis exactly to the time of day and the ambiance of the respective venue to optimize guest dwell time.
