The Big 80s Station

Behind The Big 80s Station is a US online radio station that musically dedicates itself entirely to the great chart hits, rock anthems and pop productions of the dazzling decade. The editorial program is curated by radio makers who were already actively on air in the eighties themselves and authentically transport the contemporary attitude to life and the era-typical sound into the digital present.

The station consistently dispenses with classic terrestrial FM frequencies and instead distributes its purely digital program worldwide via the Internet. Technically, the audio stream is output in a fixed quality of 128k Stereo. The direct feed takes place via web-based server structures, with which the specialty radio specifically targets an audience that wants to enjoy the unforgettable music era of the 1980s in purist form and without commercial detours.
