Play Nostalgie – Relax

Play Nostalgie – Relax is a specialized digital offshoot of the Flemish private broadcaster Play Nostalgie, based in Antwerp. The programming focuses on a calm musical selection that serves as a complement to the main station. While the parent station focuses on classics from the 80s and 90s as well as current hits, this channel specifically filters downbeat tracks, acoustic versions of well-known pop songs, and gentle classics from the repertoire to create a continuous chillout atmosphere.

Broadcasting takes place primarily via the Internet and through the official app of the station, which is part of the portfolio of the Belgian media group Play Media. While the main program features well-known voices such as Véronique De Kock in the morning show Sta op! or Alexandra Potvin in Hits@Work, the Relax spin-off largely dispenses with commentary and spoken contributions. It targets listeners in Flanders and Brussels who seek a slowed-down musical accompaniment without the dynamic energy of classic hit radio. Alongside other thematic channels such as Nostalgie 80s or Nostalgie Plus, this stream is an integral part of Play Nostalgie’s digital brand strategy.
