Radio 2 Alternatiiv

Under the umbrella of the Estonian public broadcaster ERR, the station Radio 2 Alternatiiv is dedicated to the alternative music scene. The purely digitally distributed programme is designed as a specialised webstream of the radio station Raadio 2 and complements its terrestrial offering in Tallinn and across Estonia with non-commercial and niche soundscapes.

Musically, the programme covers a broad spectrum ranging from experimental electronics and indie rock to underground club formats. Its orientation follows the editorial priorities of the parent station platform ERR, which uses its web portals to specifically target younger and culturally interested listener groups in the Baltic region.
