About the station
Radio Alfa Aarhus is an oldies station from Aarhus that belongs to the Danish network Radio ALFA. In addition to the Aarhus programme, the network operates local editions for Østjylland, Midtjylland, Silkeborg, Skive and Viborg. It plays music from past decades, which the programme labels as „Alletiders“ and „Retro“.
On weekends, the programme relies on themed blocks, such as a retro top 40 show in the afternoon and an evening slot under the title „Alletiders Lørdag aften“. At night, a continuous music block without presenters runs under the name „Alfa Popnat“.
Radio ALFA Aarhus can be received via the web player on the station’s website and via its own app for iOS and Android. In Denmark, the station is known as part of the network, which also includes the specialist channels ALFA Gold and Always Elvis Radio.
