About the station
Radio Nord broadcasts from North Jutland in Denmark and is aimed at listeners who live in the region and want to follow both local events and world news. The station is based in Pandrup. The focus is on music that its target audience grew up with: songs from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, occasionally complemented by newer hits.
The playlist features international artists such as Elton John, Abba, Smokie, Wham, Michael Jackson and Cliff Richard. Alongside them are Danish acts such as Gasolin, Thomas Helmig, Lars Lilholt, Dodo & The Dodo’s and TV-2. This mix of English-language classics and Danish songs shapes the station’s profile.
Radio Nord can be heard via the internet radio stream on the website, as well as through its own apps for iPhone and Android. The apps make it possible to receive the programme on a smartphone on the go.
