About the station

Radio Earth – Kozmické ptačí louky is an online radio project by the station Radio Earth from the Czech Republic. It is a long-term sound art project curated by Magdaléna Manderlová and Michal Kindernay. The programme focuses on the transformations of the soundscapes of the Kozmické ptačí louky, a revitalized nature reserve in the Opava River Valley in the Moravian-Silesian Region near the towns of Kozmice, Dolní Benešov and Jilešovice.

The Kozmické ptačí louky are a biologically valuable wetland with floodplain meadows that has been gradually restored since around 2006. Previously destroyed by drainage and land reclamation, it now serves as an important breeding and resting area for birds such as Brehm’s Gull and various waders. The project combines nature observation with experimental radio art and natural sounds.

There are no terrestrial frequencies; the stream is available online. No information about presenters, the station’s history, or contact details could be verified.
