About the station
Radio München is a station from Munich, which describes itself as a cultural program for the city. Website research shows a clear focus on spoken-word programming: reports, features, interviews, and satire define the overall image; music plays hardly any role on the website. A focus on classical music is not discernible there.
Recurring formats include the column Streitpunkt München, in which a regular author deals with local municipal developments. In addition, there are satirical contributions in the style of political cabaret, such as annual reviews and satirical narratives. Longer discussion segments and topical series, for example on health issues, are also part of the offering.
The content is available as audio on the website and additionally via platforms such as SoundCloud. Information regarding transmission frequency, founding year, or ownership cannot be reliably determined from research.
