RTM Minnal FM

Under the roof of the public-service broadcaster RTM in Malaysia, Minnal FM holds a firm place in the national radio landscape. The station shapes the acoustic environment of the Southeast Asian country with a clear focus on modern pop music. In doing so, the programme reflects Malaysia’s cultural identity and links popular musical trends with the relevant information offerings of the state broadcasting system.

Musically, pop culture is at the heart of the programme, which features both current national hits and international trends. RTM Minnal FM thus conveys the specific lifestyle of an urban and young Malaysian society. Listeners gain direct access to the sounds that are currently moving the country, always embedded within the editorial framework of the Malaysian media authority.
