Soma FM – Illinois Street Lounge

Behind Illinois Street Lounge is a pure webcast from the American internet radio pioneer SomaFM, which is entirely dedicated to the aesthetics of past decades. The station transports listeners directly into the Mid-Century era and focuses musically on classic bachelor pad sound, playful exotica, and retro-futuristic sounds from artists like Louis Prima.

The program is broadcast completely ad-free via streams at various bitrates such as 128k MP3 and AAC, and is funded exclusively through listener donations. The service is operated by the independent station network from the USA, which has held fixed brand rights to this specialty channel since 2000.
