Your Classical – Relax

The US classical offering YourClassical is dedicated to the dissemination and spread of classical music via various digital channels and streams. Operated within the environment of American Public Media, the focus lies on curated music streams, live programs, and podcasts. The editorial offering includes well-known formats such as the daily MP3 download, including works like Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, as well as special programs on orchestral and instrumental music.

In addition to pure music streams, the program offers conceptual series such as Classics Basics or Class Notes, which specifically convey music‑educational content and provide background on composers, conductors such as Hannah Schendel, or instruments like the piano. Furthermore, YourClassical covers major musical events, including the live broadcasts of the BBC Proms from London’s Royal Albert Hall, as well as reporting on international young‑artist competitions such as the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
