About the station
Under the name 80s80s Baden-Württemberg, a radio service broadcasts with a focus on the music of the 1980s, with a regional connection to Baden-Württemberg. The name doubles the year number and already makes the focus on this decade clear.
The central genre is 80er: synthesizer sounds, catchy choruses and the pop music of that era, from New Wave and synth-pop to the Neue Deutsche Welle. Listeners who grew up in the 1980s will find familiar titles here, while younger listeners discover the sound world of a decade that was strongly shaped by electronic instruments and colourful arrangements.
No verified information is available for this station about presenters, programmes or the exact broadcast frequency. What is certain, however, is its orientation: a music programme that puts the 1980s at its centre and is aimed at listeners in south-west Germany.
