BR24

As the information wave of Bayerischen Rundfunks, BR24 focuses on a pure speech and news program for all of Bavaria. The station provides around-the-clock updates on political developments, economic data, sports results, and events in the Bavarian regions.

The program schedule follows a clear structure: At short intervals, formats such as BR24 Nachrichten
and BR24 kompakt inform about the situation at home and abroad. In addition to its own on-the-ground reporting, the station uses the ARD’s worldwide correspondent network for analyses, background reports, and actualities.

The continuous reporting is supplemented by special programs such as ARD-Infosamstag am Vormittag. Here, journalists and reporters specifically examine topics from financial policy, technology, and culture in more extensive interviews and actuality collages.
