Bremen Eins

The waves of Bremen Eins bring the classics of music history to Germany’s smallest federal state and the neighboring state of Lower Saxony. As a public broadcasting program of the public broadcaster Radio Bremen, the station focuses on oldies as well as pop and rock classics from past decades. It broadcasts in northwestern Germany on FM frequencies 93.8 MHz in Bremen and 89.3 MHz in Bremerhaven, as well as via the ARD-Audiothek app.

A staple of the morning program is the interactive Becherwisser-Quiz, in which listeners can test their general knowledge every day. Alongside the music, regional reports on politics, business, and society are a focus. The editorial team covers current debates from the Bremen Senate as well as topics from the city districts, such as reports on the Mercedes plant or cultural life in the broadcast area.
