Deutschlandfunk Nova

Deutschlandfunk Nova is a digital knowledge and information radio station of Deutschlandradio, primarily targeting a younger audience. The programme largely forgoes classic FM frequencies and is instead available nationwide via DAB+, satellite, and as a livestream. Content-wise, the focus is on in-depth reporting, current debates from politics and society, as well as scientific topics.

In addition to compact news, the format offers numerous programmes on future topics, work, net culture, and psychology. Musically, the station clearly distinguishes itself from the main programmes and focuses on modern pop music, indie, and electronic sounds away from the commercial mainstream.
