About the station
DR P5 Nordjylland is part of the public broadcaster DR in Denmark and focuses on oldies. The station takes its name from the region of Nordjylland in northern Jutland and is thus aimed at listeners in this area.
The DR P5 programme centres on well-known hits from earlier decades. The shows combine music with presentation and background stories about the tracks and artists. Through DR LYD, the station’s audio portal, the programmes can be heard live and listened to later on demand.
As part of the DR network, the station follows the mandate of a national broadcaster that combines music, information and entertainment in the Danish language. The oldies focus makes the programme character of DR P5 clearly recognisable.
