FIP Groove

As a thematic specialty channel of the public broadcaster Radio France, FIP Groove is dedicated entirely to rhythmic musical colors beyond the mainstream. The ad-free digital program broadcasts from France and musically focuses on a carefully curated mix of R&B, funk, soul, and trip-hop.

The playlist connects historic recordings by influential figures such as Marvin Gaye and Gil Scott-Heron with more modern tracks by artists like Amy Winehouse and De La Soul. This spectrum is complemented by genre-related acts such as disco productions, independent soul from Ben L’Oncle Soul, and electronically tinged productions from labels like Ninja Tune and Tru Thoughts.
