GDS.FM is Zurich’s radio Against the Current, an independent station that has been broadcasting alternative music without advertising, news or charts since 2012. Founded by Christian Gamp and Rosi Pascal Rosamilia, operations began from a living room and switched to a 24/7 stream in 2014.

The association was formed in 2013 with five founding members. Since August 2016, GDS.FM has also been receivable terrestrially via DAB+ from Frauenfeld to Solothurn, supplemented by a worldwide online stream. The programme offers daily mixes by local DJs, live broadcasts from Zurich’s nightlife and playlists from indie labels.

Since 2017, the studio has been housed in the club Sender at Kurzgasse 4, which hosts events and concerts. GDS.FM promotes the local music scene and cultural diversity.
