About the station
Hit Radio FFH – Acoustic Hits is a web radio channel of the Hessian private broadcaster Hit Radio FFH. The channel specializes in acoustic versions of current hits, unplugged classics, and singer-songwriter songs. Cover versions and reduced arrangements with classical instruments create a relaxed campfire feeling, ideal for relaxing, everyday life, or candlelight dinner.
Hit Radio FFH was founded in 1988 and began broadcasting on November 15, 1989 in Frankfurt am Main. Since 2001, the broadcasting center in Bad Vilbel has been the location. As the second-largest private radio station in Germany by listener numbers, FFH serves Hesse with pop and hit music. The Acoustic Hits channel complements the offering without terrestrial frequencies, available exclusively online.
The program features handcrafted acoustic arrangements by well-known stars, inspired by formats such as MTV Unplugged.
