About the station
Live95 broadcasts from Limerick in the west of Ireland and is primarily aimed at the audience in the city and the surrounding region. The station is part of the Onic group, which also operates the Onic-Player app and several podcast productions. In addition to news and entertainment, sports have a firm place in the schedule: the website refers to a dedicated sports section and a separate channel for live commentary, through which games from the region are broadcast.
In its music and talk programming, Live95 mixes local topics with international pop and rock tracks. Additionally, the sports station talkSPORT Ireland is offered via the same platform, which reinforces the focus on sports topics. The podcast selection ranges from talk formats to true-crime series like “The Kinahans”.
