Metro 95.1

Metro 95.1 was a prominent radio station in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that began broadcasting on February 2, 1998. The station broadcast on 95.1 MHz FM and was known for its diverse programming featuring magazines, journalistic programs, and music shows.

Famous programs such as Basta de Todo, Perros de la Calle and Metro y Medio shaped its history. Hosts such as Andy Kusnetzoff, Matías Martin, María O’Donnell and Nicolás “Cayetano” Cajg made Metro a key figure in the Argentine radio landscape. The studios were last located at Freire 932, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

From 2020, the station fell into a crisis due to the departure of stars to Urbana Play and declining advertising revenue. On August 31, 2025, all talk programs ended; the station was converted into Metro Power Hits, a pure music station featuring pop and rock hits.
