Pinguin Classics

Pinguin Classics is a Dutch online radio station that is dedicated entirely to the alternative music genre. Instead of current mainstream hits, the program relies on handmade guitar music, indie rock classics, and pioneering titles from the history of alternative pop culture. The station transports the unmistakable spirit of the independent scene directly to the Netherlands and beyond.

The digital audio offering is aimed at listeners who, far from commercial radio, seek corners and edges in music. From melancholic post-punk to driving alternative rock of the past decades, distinctive voices and characteristic instrumentals shape the acoustic appearance. Pinguin Classics serves both as a musical archive and a driving force for fans of sophisticated rock and pop culture.
