Radio Monaco – Night Mood

The radio station Radio Monaco is a broadcaster based in the Principality that, alongside its main programme in Monte-Carlo, also operates an offshoot for the Parisian audience. The station is divided into several digital thematic channels covering different musical focuses. In addition to channels such as Monte-Carlo and 100% Mix DJ, Night Mood is designed as a specialised format that – as the name implies – concentrates on nocturnal musical accompaniment. The programme offering is supplemented by curated shows such as the Sidekick Radio Show by DJ Jem’S, with the musical focus generally on modern pop and electronic productions.

Beyond purely musical operation, Radio Monaco regularly produces editorial content ranging from daily horoscopes to lifestyle features. The editorial team also works with various formats such as Week End Change to shape the weekend programme in terms of content. Technically, the station relies on web-based distribution, allowing listeners to switch directly between the various digital streams via the website. The station’s orientation combines local reporting from the Principality with an internationally oriented music selection, which is extended beyond the actual broadcast area particularly through the addition of the Paris frequency.
