GAYFM

GAYFM is an online radio from Germany that specializes in dance music and targets the LGBTQ+ community. The station offers music and programs around the clock that address queer topics.

The history of gay radio stations in Germany dates back to the 1980s. On June 16, 1988, Fliederfunk launched as the first officially broadcast gay radio program in the FRG, which later became Radiogays. This pioneering work in Nuremberg/Franconia laid the foundation for queer radio presence. GAYFM builds on this and operates as a pure internet radio.

No detailed public information is available about presenters and current programming. The station can only be received online and has no terrestrial frequencies.
