Bayrak Türk Müzigi

Bayrak Türk Müziği is a radio station of the state Bayrak Radyo Televizyon Kurumu (BRTK) in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The station specialises in Turkish music, including pop and traditional sounds, and offers a round-the-clock programme of music, variety, and conversation.

The BRTK was founded in 1963 as Bayrak Radyo to give the Turkish-Cypriot communities their own voice. The first broadcast took place on 25 December 1963 from a garage in Nicosia with limited coverage. In 1964, the station was expanded to reach the entire island. Today, Bayrak Türk Müziği broadcasts on FM 94.6 MHz from Lefkoşa (Nicosia) and is available online. The programme is broadcast from the central broadcasting building in Nicosia.

The station is part of the national broadcasting authority, which also operates television and other radio programmes.
