France Musique

France Musique is the classical and jazz programme of the public broadcaster Radio France. As one of the main programmes of French radio alongside France Inter and France Culture, it was founded in 1954 and initially broadcast on FM. Today it is available via satellite, internet, and as a podcast.

The programme includes shows such as Musique matin with classical music and studio guests, Les grands concerts with productions by the Radio France orchestras, the jazz show Banzaï, and Le concert du soir. At night, it carries content from web radios. Since 2017, the slogan has been France Musique – Vous allez LA DO RÉ, a wordplay on ‘Vous allez l’adorer’.

France Musique offers a broad spectrum of classical music, jazz, new music, and cultural conversations.
