About the station
Hitradio RT1 Neuburg Schrobenhausen is the regional edition of Hitradio RT1 for the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen area. The station positions itself as a radio station for Augsburg city and district, Memmingen, the Unterallgäu and Northern Swabia, and focuses on pop with current hits. The station’s own claims about the “best music mix” cannot be verified from the outside.
The programme includes the RT1 Morgenshow in the morning. There are also podcasts such as Blaulicht Bayern, Famous Infamous</em* with portraits of people from Bavaria, and the series Künstliche Katastrophe. The news pages of the website clearly focus on Augsburg city and district and report only marginally on other parts of the coverage area.
The website also offers around two dozen webchannels, including RT1 Relax, RT1 Deutsche Hits, RT1 80er, RT1 90er and RT1 Rock. The station also provides traffic information and an overview of reception options.
