Klassik Radio – Filmklassiker

The specialty channel Klassik Radio – Filmklassiker is a digital offshoot of the private broadcaster Klassik Radio operating in Germany and is dedicated entirely to the great orchestral works of film history. The station offers a specialized program of world-famous soundtracks, symphonic masterpieces, and monumental Hollywood cinema scores.

Listeners can receive the offering via the official website klassikradio.de as well as via various streaming platforms and apps. In addition to the well-known film compositions, related genres such as New Classics and orchestral jazz regularly flow into the digital streaming portfolio.

The channel complements the main program of Klassik Radio AG, which is headquartered in Hamburg and is distributed nationwide via FM, DAB+ and the internet. With this dedicated film music stream, the station specifically targets an audience seeking symphonic soundscapes beyond the classical standard repertoire.
