Klassik Radio – Rock Meets Classic

Klassik Radio – Rock Meets Classic is a web radio channel of the station Klassik Radio that presents rock classics in symphonic arrangements. Famous hits from bands such as Queen, the Rolling Stones, or Pink Floyd are performed in an orchestral sound, interpreted by major ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra as well as soloists like David Garrett or 2Cellos.

The channel combines rock guitar riffs with classical strings and choirs to create thrilling crossover music. It was born from the tradition of Klassik Radio, which was founded in 1986 as Radio Fantasy and developed into the largest classical music station in the EU. The programme offers relaxing and energetic tracks that harmoniously unite two musical worlds.

As a digital stream, the station is available nationwide in Germany and throughout the DACH region, with a focus on high-quality audio up to 192 kbit/s.
