About the station
Via the German user-generated radio platform laut.fm, the web radio station pit1011 broadcasts a multi-layered music mix. With no fixed FM frequencies, the digital offering targets listeners throughout Germany and worldwide via web stream, mobile apps and smart speaker connections. A fixed part of the daily schedule is the show Rotation, in which current productions meet older tracks.
The musical profile combines contemporary mainstream pop with influences from modern German rap, US hip-hop and rock music. Alongside hits by artists such as Gracie Abrams, Nina Chuba or Eli Preiss, the programme regularly features rap tracks by acts such as SSIO, Megan Thee Stallion and Wa22ermann. Alternative rock greats such as Linkin Park or Faith No More, as well as classics by Tom Petty, are also part of the playlist. On the hour, the station inserts automated news and weather reports from the platform operator into the ongoing music stream.
