NPO 3FM

NPO 3FM is a Dutch radio station focusing on pop music, rock, and current new releases. Among its regular programming is the show Barend & Benner, in which hosts Barend van Deelen and Nellie Benner guide listeners through the late afternoon. The station places great emphasis on promoting new acts and regularly awards the title 3FM Talent, which in the past has honored artists such as the band Flaire.

In its music programming, the station relies on a mix of established artists and current tracks. A so-called 3FM Megahit is regularly crowned, such as songs by the British band Nothing But Thieves, whose rougher sound and titles like #5 shape the programming. The linear radio offering is complemented by podcasts such as Lang verhaal kort, De Machine, and De Lesbische Liga Podcast, as well as special music formats like De Verlanglijst.
