Radio Charivari Regensburg

Radio Charivari Regensburg is a private radio station from Regensburg that has been operated by the company Funkhaus Regensburg since 1987. The programming is based on two pillars: music with more hits and variety, including many 80s hits and current chart hits, as well as regional content through news, service information, traffic reports and listener actions from Regensburg, Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate.

The station reaches 430,000 listeners daily, especially in the 30- to 49-year-old target group. It is available via FM frequencies in the Regensburg area up to Landshut and Weiden, DAB+ throughout Upper Palatinate and adjacent districts, digital cable and online worldwide. Regional content includes local news, event tips, sports reports and shows such as ‘Sagen und Geschichten’. Until 2015, the station positioned itself as an oldies station ‘Ostbayerns Radio’.
