Frankfurt Beats

In the media landscape surrounding Frankfurt’s skyline, Frankfurt Beats positions itself as a purely digital web radio with a clear focus on urban music. Listeners tuning in are not confronted with the usual chart hits of commercial stations, but hear exclusively hip-hop, rap, and Urban Vibes. The program sees itself as a local voice for the 069 area and reflects the lifestyle between Konstablerwache, Zeil, and the Main riverbank. Musically, the rotation is a deliberately curated mix of Golden Era classics from the 1990s, hard German rap from the local scene, and the latest releases from the US.

The station, broadcast via the laut.fm platform, consistently offers a 24-hour format that requires no registration or subscription models. Rather than targeting a broad audience, the offering is specifically aimed at listeners who value an authentic hip-hop sound. The format deliberately avoids pop-leaning elements and instead cultivates a raw, direct sound that musically captures the feel of life in the Frankfurt metropolitan area and its surroundings, extending as far as the Taunus.
