ENERGY München

ENERGY München is a private radio station for Munich and the surrounding area, belonging to the French NRJ Group. Founded in 1984 as Radio Xanadu, broadcasting on FM began on April 18, 1988. After a renaming and focus on rock music, the NRJ Group became the majority shareholder in 1994.

The program offers HIT MUSIC ONLY with current charts, shows like ENERGY am Morgen and special programs like EURO HOT 30. Well-known past presenters include Thomas Gottschalk, Erkan & Stefan, and Michael Herbig. The station reaches a daily audience of 162,000 listeners and broadcasts around the clock.

Since July 2019, the studios at Schwabinger Tor have been used. ENERGY München can be received via FM 93.3 MHz, DAB+ channel 11C, app, smart speaker, and online stream.
