WDR 1live Dance Hits

The digital station 1LIVE Dance Hits is a specialty channel of Westdeutscher Rundfunk and, as an offshoot of the young WDR station 1LIVE, targets an audience in North Rhine-Westphalia. The program focuses musically exclusively on electronic dance music, house, techno and current club hits. Broadcasting takes place around the clock digitally via livestream on the station’s web presence as well as via the official app and DAB+.

As a pure music stream, the format largely dispenses with classic moderation segments and editorial spoken contributions to ensure a seamless mix for the sector. The station thus bundles the electronic music colors that can be heard in the regular linear program of 1LIVE in the evening or in special DJ shows into a permanent stream for club and festival fans.
