MDR JUMP

MDR JUMP is the popular pop radio station of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk and targets listeners in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The programme is designed as a digital entertainment brand and reliably provides the region with current traffic information as well as regional reports from the three federal states.

At the centre of broadcasting operations is the morning show, which accompanies the day as Guten Morgen Familie. The fixed format also includes the quiz MDR JUMP Quickie, where listeners can prove their knowledge of East Germany. The offering is supplemented by interactive campaigns such as the guessing game Dingsbums.

Musically, the station relies on a modern pop offering and organises regular concert series and listener events such as Bands for Friends. Podcasts such as Die schönsten Krisen with Olaf Schubert or the format Fakt oder Fake expand the station’s audio portfolio.
